I recently published a new site for my millinery work. Check it out!
I also have items up on etsy.
Any artist worth their ilk has overly influenced someone at some point but when does it go too far? Well when they’re actually using your art without credit, permission, and proper compensation.
I’ve been hearing that this highly successful “illistrator” is an art thief for taking other people’s photographs and photoshopping the hell out of them. Little did I know that one of the more influential and currently unknown and uncredited artist “inspirations” is a friend of mine.
I found that out last night at Lucky 13 when a gathering celebrating the visit of one of our old friends brought this beautiful doll that is so exquisite I was compelled to ask permission before touching it. I asked her if she knew about the Mijn Schatje scandal. And she said “Yes!”. It turns out I get easily confused when artists change their names by getting married or having art fag monikers like I do. But anyhoo, I’m blonde and while I was already outraged, I’m now practically rabid as she’s one of my own.
So this week I made custom hat that was featured in Bebe Fashion’s Spring show for the final look. I don’t have a hat box big enough for this hat and I didn’t really think it was THAT big. But many of my hats are too big for even the biggest hat boxes. Ha.
Another original hat, “Dynasty”, is featured in the “Cool Brittania” shoot in the GENLUX Spring 2009 Issue.

Chillin’ at 111 Minna was awesome. I made some $$ and thankfully it was too crowded for me to travel about and spend it on the spot!
Looking forward to doing a photoshoot with my new designs..
Best, Indra
I’m going to be at 111 Minna in San Francisco, CA on March 7th 2009. A couple of my friends have done this event and I’ve heard it’s REALLY AWESOME.
All my hats are one of a kind. I’m going to be selling hand felted fedoras, tapestry cloches, mini straw and felt fedoras etc etc. This is a rare occasion to purchase one of my hats for under $175.00 retail.
Prices will start at $59.
Due to some serious tech drama, my former website and seemingly all it’s content, has been lost. Stay tuned while we piece back my archival information and format a new site.
